About AlarmCert Mentor
AlarmCert Mentor is an interactive learning and testing platform built to help technicians master fire alarm and life-safety certification exams through targeted study, realistic practice questions, and direct code-book references.
What the app does
The platform covers NICET fire alarm systems Levels 1–4, the fire alarm inspection and testing program, in-building public safety communications (IB-PSC), Ohio fire alarm and sprinkler licensing, and a growing library on low-voltage building systems such as access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and areas of refuge.
Study tools include level-by-level study guides, flashcards, topic quizzes, scenario exercises, timed practice and final exams, and focused bootcamps on specific codes and standards. Every question ties back to the code — NFPA 72, NFPA 101, IBC, NEC, and more — with expandable citations showing the section reference, index-lookup guidance, and, where available, the verbatim code text, so you learn where the answer lives in the book, not just what the answer is.
